Hehe, I’ll admit that while I have headcanons on the fly for galvans and cerebrocrustaceans to guess at how they’ll react interacting with a friend’s friend (ccs being more obvious and welcoming in the friend group, potentially galvans having jealousy issues or even just fascination someone can have more than one friend and ones with such differences), but I have no idea how tetramands and appoplexians would react lmao, at least not beyond your appoplexian friend being confounded by how nice your cerebrocrustacean friend is (potentially versus any bias they might’ve learnt) met with a mutual confusion when your cerebrocrustacean friend sees you and your appoplexian friend verbally and or physically roughhousing :P

sane universe Mads def gets hit hard by gifted kid fatigue. they never really felt like they were a part of their family because they're so much younger than most of their siblings, so they slowly distance themself from their family to suffer alone after they graduate and try to go to college.

their early 20s are Really Rough. they're in a constant depressive fog that consumes everything around them; it eventually chases off their gf because Camila can't take being around someone who is such a constant drain. the depression meds aren't working, they pretty much only see their family on holidays, and despite talking to their parents at least once a month, it's more them lying to them about being fine than having someone to turn to.

Isaac has a boyfriend, a stable job, and a good home, Elijah has a girlfriend and a decently paying job, Jack has his kid with his long-term girlfriend and has severely mellowed out, but they're just kind of... There. as an outlier. the only sibling of theirs that feels like a sibling is Isaac because they grew up together. everybody was always too caught up in stuff that happened either before they were born or when they were very young. they immediately had all of that trauma in common, and Mads was constantly playing catch up to struggle for a relationship with their family. and when their depression, self-loathing, and general distaste for socializing got worse, they shut everyone out.

they get better Eventually but. times are tough.

“people who think robin would ever priorise a crush over her best friend doesn't understand her character.” now i’m not saying i think this way because i can appreciate and love friendship while i also have my ships, but going to the first point: so robin is awful if she ends up doing it but steve is allowed to do this? A lot of you say “steve prioritizes robin” but this didn’t even happen in canon. wanted to leave robin multiple times to go alone with nancy somewhere. left robin to wander alone in the upside down when he knows how dangerous it is especially for robin because he even says she’s clumsy but he lets her run alone and all because he wanted to give nancy a talk that should have stayed buried two seasons ago. being annoyed at robin interrupting even tho nancy didn’t have to give him an answer and there were more important things (he should have known with robin saying love is not a priority rn). said “is she giving you academic? 😐” as if robin didn’t solve the russian plot and other stuff, he knows she’s really smart but somehow he forgot in season 4 because he rather spend time with his crush than seeing her best friend and ex solve the Max’s thing. And i know that if the roles were reversed people would say robin is a bad friend and they would probably say she’s awful because “how can she make fun of steve or his mind! She treats him like he’s dumb” (literally words of steve stans about how robin, dustin and nancy treat him) hell is already happening with you making scenarios about it. I hate that the Duffers wrote them that way but it’s not like y’all can ignore canon only when it benefits you/the character you like.

the only real thing equatable to robin dating nancy, would be if steve dated tammy thompson. he would never do that to robin though. he knows how much that would hurt her.

You don't have a high-ranking politician poised to take control of the government in a way that looks plausibly acceptable to your country's current military allies. You don't have the cooperation and backing of any other useful foreign power.
